About Clay Byrce
Clay Bryce was a member of the Western Australian Museum's Department of
Aquatic Zoology (Molluscs) Department fro the past 28 years. He now heads
the WA Museum's Documentary Unit popularising the museum's various
scientific disciplines into international release documentaries. He has
participated in numerous biological surveys throughout Australian,
Indonesian, and east Pacific waters. His extensive knowledge of marine life
has resulted in the co-authorship of 5 books, the production of many marine
life books and scientific reports on regional biodiversity. Clay's
scientific specialisation is on the opisthobranch (sea slugs) molluscs of
the Indo-Pacific region. He is also an internationally recognised
marine-life photographer with his images and popular articles appearing in
publications such as Ocean Realm, BBC Wildlife, Unterwasser, Aqua
Geographia, Australian Geographic, Readers Digest, Adventure Oman etc.
