Cleaner Crustaceans

There are a number of reef fishes that are known to clean parasites and necrotic tissue off of other fishes. There are also crustaceans that engage in these activities. Most of these are shrimps that belong to the genera Leander, Lysmata, Periclimenes, Stenopus, and Urocaridella.
