OCi (Our Creator's Inspiration) Design is a website dedicated to our divine Creator,
my Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit who guides me in my daily walk. This site
is a humble offering of hand-crafted work designed to reflect small pieces of our loving
God's wondrous creativity.
During my life, I've felt a deep appreciation for the incredible and infinite variety found in nature. The time I've been given to explore the natural world -- examing the unique shapes and forms of life -- have helped me draw closer to God. I believe that when studied closely, life design is recognized by our hearts and confirmed by science as the undeniable work of a holy and intelligent designer. In nature, when we examine creations up close, our senses will detect unique patterns, colorations, and tonal qualities. While sunsets have similar components, each is unique. The handcrafted jewelry I create is like this. No two pieces are exactly alike because the process is completely serendipitous. The extreme versatility of the materials I use allows me to explore and develop new techniques with every piece I design. While you may find some design similarities in my collection, I do not attempt to duplicate pieces. My goal is to create one-of-a-kind items while continually striving to move forward -- exploring and developing new techniques and designs. I thank God for the amazing creative diversity He designed for our enjoyment. I thank my mother and father for purchasing my first polymer clay 15 years ago and for encouraging and supporting all of my creative endeavors throughout my lifetime. I also thank my incredibly talented husband for his encouragement and technical expertise that brought OCi design into existance.
