Meeting with a Sandtiger Odontaspis ferox.
Text and Photos by Clay Bryce
As divers explore greater depths, they're having encounters with species that have not been
seen in situ before! In recent years, a site was discovered off the Eastern Pacific Island of
Malpelo where divers can observe and photograph a large species of shark of the
genus Odontaspis - a group commonly known as sandtigers.
Come with Clay Bryce on a trip to meet this massive deepwater shark! Includes
some amazing photos!
